GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Georgetown Township lake is closed after testing revealed high levels of E. coli.

Township officials say the closure affects the lake on Eighth Avenue.

We’re told the public may still use the parking lot and the nearby amenities.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding,” the township writes.
