GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Grand Haven woman is hurt and southbound US-31 was blocked after a semi crash in Grand Haven Township Thursday night.
The crash happened at around 9 p.m. north of Hayes Street, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO).
We're told a semitruck driver from Indiana tried to move south via the turnaround when the trailer was hit by a 65-year-old woman in a Hyundai.
The semi driver was unharmed but the woman was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The crash is currently being investigated.
Dispatchers say the road has since reopened.
