GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Hungry Howie’s Pizza’s newest Ottawa County location opened Monday in Grand Haven, according to a news release.

In celebration of the new location, the store is offering a large, one-topping carryout pizza for $8.99.

The location is also donating 10% of sales on Tuesday to Ferry and Voyager Elementary and 10% of sales on Wednesday to Mary A. White Elementary.

Franchise owner Jerry Heath grew up down the street from the company’s CEO, Steve Jackson, and knew by the time he was 12 that he wanted to open a store when he grew up.

The Grand Haven restaurant will be Heath’s 11th location.

“I’m thrilled to expand Hungry Howie’s to the eastern area of Lake Michigan,” Heath said. “Hungry Howie’s has a reputation of great customer service and high-quality, delicious pizza and we can’t wait to serve to the tourists and local residents of the Grand Haven community.”

The restaurant will be located at 300 N. Beacon Blvd.
