TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Mason man is hurt after a crash in Tallmadge Township Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies and firefighters responded to the crash on Lake Michigan Drive and Eighth Avenue before 4:40 p.m., according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO).
We’re told a 19-year-old Mason man drove east on Lake Michigan Drive in a blue Ford Focus and tried to turn left onto Eighth Avenue when he entered the path of a westbound black Ford F-150, driven by a 20-year-old Highland man.
OCSO says both drivers had a green light.
Deputies say the Mason man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The Highland man was unharmed.
The westbound lanes were closed while investigation took place.
