ALLENDALE, Mich. — A person is behind bars after leading Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies in a car chase on the campus of Grand Valley State University (GVSU).
A little after 10:30 p.m. on Halloween night, authorities were patrolling 48th Avenue when they came across a Dodge Charger driving in a reckless behavior.
When deputies tried to pull the vehicle over, the car fled and a chase ensued onto GVSU's campus.
They managed to arrest the driver a short time later off-campus, and the person is now being held at the Ottawa County Jail.
