ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 74-year-old West Olive woman is seriously hurt after a crash in Robinson Township on Tuesday.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened after 9:30 a.m. at Lake Michigan Drive and 104th Avenue.
We’re told the woman was traveling south along 104th Avenue when she drove past the stop sign.
Deputies say she was hit by a dump truck operated by a 46-year-old Bangor man, who had the right of way. He was not hurt in the crash, authorities explain.
While serious, the woman’s injuries are expected to be non-life threatening.
The crash — which dispatchers say closed the intersection until around 11:45 a.m. — is currently under investigation.
