GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 16-year-old Hudsonville girl has died after a rollover crash in Georgetown Township Monday afternoon.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened at around 2 p.m. east of 40th Avenue on Bauer Road.
We're told the teen driver was heading west when the car left the road and drove into a ditch.
The car then hit a drainage tunnel and went airborn before overturning a handful of times, deputies explain.
What caused the crash is being investigated.
The crash closed part of Bauer Road between 36th and 40th avenues for roughly two and a half hours, according to Ottawa County dispatchers.
