SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — A large mural illustrating South Haven Area Emergency Services’ commitment to serving its community and country can now be found in the department’s Station 3.
It also now appears on two of the department’s vehicles, according to a news release Monday.
The murals were made possible through memorial gifts presented to the department in tribute to deceased members David Henry, Stanley Wakild and Edward Bierhalter and Ed’s wife, Dorothy.
The original mural was created by retired deputy chief Tony Marsala and current deputy chief Keith Bierhalter.
It was adapted for placement on the trucks by Anchor Signs of Benton Harbor.
