GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you're looking to enjoy some community events before the summer's over, look no further.

Courtney Sheffer, Marketing Director for West Michigan Tourist Association, joined us live to share these three events:

Kalamazoo Valley Museum's planetarium staff is hosting a free virtual live tour of the night sky every Tuesday in August at 4 p.m. Registration is available up to 30 minutes prior to each event, and you can register via their website, by contacting the staff through Facebook, or by email at museumstaff@kvcc.edu.

The Mendal Center in Benton Harbor is providing four live drive-in concerts starting Sunday, August 9, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and music beginning at 6 p.m. One ticket buys a carload of up to six people into the parking lot.

Finally, Cannonsburg Ski Area is firing up the grill every Thursday evening for backyard barbecue. There will be ribs, pulled pork, burgers, and more, along with cold beverages and dessert. This family-friendly event is being held on the spacious outdoor deck.
