Father and son wanted in murder of Flint security guard over face mask argument arrested

WXYZ — Sources are telling 7 Action News that the two suspects wanted in connection with the murder of a Flint security guard following a confrontation over a face mask have been taken into custody.

The arrests were officially announced during a 7pm news conference in Flint.

The U.S. Marshals had offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the father and son who were wanted for the murder of a security guard.

A reward of $2,500 was being offered for information leading to the capture of 23-year-old Ramonyea Bishop and an additional $2,500 was being offered for 44-year-old Larry Teague. 7 Action News is being told one was arrested in Houston, the other was taken into custody in Bay City. Teague was taken into custody in Houston on Thursday. Bishop was arrested in Bay City Friday.

Teague was arrested with two other people, who are also facing charges issued in Genesee County. They are being held at the Harris County, Texas
