MECOSTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man involved in an armed robbery Thursday.
It happened about 2:30 p.m. at the Davis Bridge General Store on 8 Mile Road in Stanwood, Mecosta Township, a news release said.
Police say a man entered the store with a note demanding money and also verbally demanded money, claiming to be armed.
After taking the money from the cash register, he fled the store on foot westbound through the parking lot.
The robber is described as a white man about 30 to 40 years old, 5’8” to 5’10” with a medium build and dark hair.
No one was injured during the incident.
The robbery remains under investigation.
