EUREKA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police responded to a fatal crash involving two vehicles on Greenville Road Wednesday morning.
The crash happened south of Greenville near River Run Trail, according to the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators determined that a 58-year-old man from Stanton was driving south on Greenville Road in a gray 2008 Mercury Mountaineer when he crossed into the path of a blue 2009 Pontiac Torrent, which was driven by a 62-year-old woman from Belding, according to police.
We’re told the woman in the Pontiac was killed in the crash.
Police say the driver in the Mercury and his female passenger, 57, were transported to Spectrum Health United Hospital for minor injuries.
The road was reportedly covered in snow when the crash occurred, and police say all individuals involved were wearing seatbelts.
