Michigan State Police investigating after man shot in Montcalm County

REYNOLDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police are still investigating after a 44-year-old man was shot in Montcalm County more than a week ago.

It happened about 4 a.m. on Jan. 31 on Dewey Road near Maple Hill Road in Reynolds Township, MSP told Fox 17 on Wednesday.

The man’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Lakeview police do not believe there is any danger to the public at this time.

No arrests have been made.

No other information was immediately released.

The investigation continues.
