LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — An update is forthcoming in the Flint water crisis case. The prosecution team is expected to announce its findings in the investigation on Thursday.

This comes after news of charges being filed against former Gov. Rick Snyder, and several other officials in connection to the case.
On Jan. 14 at 11:30 a.m., Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel will be joined by Michigan Solicitor General Fadwa Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy to announce further findings in the investigation.

Snyder was arraigned on charges with two counts of willful neglect of duty in the Flint water crisis.
He was given a $10,000 personal bond for each count with conditions he personally appears for all standard court hearings. He has pleaded not guilty on the charges.

Michigan's former health director was also charged with involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of nine people who got Legionnaires' disease during the Flint water crisis.
Nick Lyon pleaded not guilty during an appearance in a Genesee County court. He worked for then-Gov. Rick Snyder, who is facing misdemeanor charges of willful neglect of duty in Flint.
