LANSING, Mich. — The Food Bank Council of Michigan is calling on anyone and everyone to help feed families who find themselves without food during the coronavirus pandemic.
Demand on Michigan food banks has grown since schools were closed in March, as nearly 1,000,000 kids and teens relied on their school for at least 2 meals a day.
If you are interested in either virtually shopping for food or making a direct donation, visit www.MichiganFoodDrive.org [michiganfooddrive.org].
Contributors can choose which regional food bank receives donations, with undesignated items and funds going to areas that have the greatest need.
