The trial for Adam Fox, the alleged ringleader, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta, will begin on March 23.

The plot planning went on for about six months. The governor was allegedly targeted because of her COVID-19 lockdowns; the plot was supposed to be carried out before the November election.

All six men are charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping, while seven others are facing state charges.

The plot was allegedly made by Fox, who state and federal officials have called the alleged ringleader. The documents spell out a Plan A that included recruiting 200 men, taking over the entire state Capitol building, taking hostages, executing "tyrants" and have it televised. A secondary plan was to lock the door and set the building on fire.
