EAST LANSING, Mich. — An MSU student is in custody for allegedly posting an online anonymous threat to the university.
According to MSU police, at 2:00 p.m. on February 26th MSU learned about an anonymous online threat to the community.
Within an hour after MSU learned of the online threat, police confronted an 18-year-old woman suspect in the 800 block of Chestnut.
Police say they arrested the 18-year-old after determining probable cause that she was responsible for posting the online threat.
She is currently being held at the Ingham County Sheriff's Office as police seek felony charges.
MSU Police say there is no current threat to the MSU community.
