HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An investigation is underway after the discovery of two bodies in a Holland Township apartment.
After not hearing from either person in the apartment, the family called Ottawa County Central Dispatch. The dispatch discovered the dead couple, both with gunshot wounds.
A search of the Millpond apartment revealed a firearm, leading investigators to believe a murder/suicide has occurred. A subsequent autopsy confirmed that both subjects died from gunshot wounds, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, who say the female had numerous wounds and the male had a single gunshot wound in the head.
We're told the case is still open.
