ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. — A 53-year-old Kalamazoo woman was injured during a crash Monday evening in St. Joseph County, according to a news release Tuesday.
It happened about 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of M66 and Marvin Road.
A northbound vehicle – driven by the Kalamazoo woman – rear-ended a farm implement being pulled by a tractor.
The woman was transported to Bronson ER with injuries that weren’t life-threatening and was not believed to be wearing a seat belt during the crash.
The driver of the tractor, a 26-year-old man from Centreville, was not injured.
Police continue to investigate the crash but believe alcohol and drugs may have contributed.
