ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. — The Michigan State Police are investigating two stolen vehicles and multiple thefts reported in St. Joseph County on Saturday.
According to the MSP Marshall Post, during the earlier morning hours Saturday numerous complaints were received involving the cars and larcenies from motor vehicles around the county.
Police recovered one of the stolen vehicles -- a 2011 Chevolet Malibu. The other stolen car -- a 2018 Chevy Traverse -- is still missing.
During the early morning hours on Saturday, both vehicles were seen in Fabius and Lockport townships stopping at numerous residences and the cars' occupants breaking into multiple vehicles and stealing items inside. Surveillance pictures showed that three people were involved in the thefts.
