ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. — More than 180 felines have been removed from two homes in St. Joseph County.
On August 12, the Animal Control Officer for Three Rivers Police got a warrant to search a home on North Lincoln Avenue and found more than 40 feral cats inside.
Police were tipped off to the situation after 140 cats were removed from a home in Park Township.
The Branch Hillsdale St. Joseph Community Health Department and a building inspector were also involved in checking the home.
