Police seek tips to find suspect in attempted bank robbery

THREE RIVERS, Mich. — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in their search for the suspect in the attempted robbery of a bank in Three Rivers.

The robbery happened at 6:24 p.m. on Jan. 8 at the Horizon Bank on W Michigan Avenue.

Police say 21-year-old Taylor Philips entered the bank just before it closed and passed a note demanding cash, but the teller refused to give him any.

He left the area after the attempted robbery and police are still searching for him.
