WHITE PIGEON, Mich. — One person was arrested early Friday morning when St. Joseph County police attempting to conduct a traffic stop realized the man had a warrant for his arrest.
Deputies tried to stop the vehicle around midnight because it didn’t have a valid license plate, according to a news release.
The vehicle then fled through the village of White Pigeon and a short pursuit ensued.
That pursuit ended when the 33-year-old Centreville resident got his vehicle stuck in the snow in a White Pigeon business parking lot.
Police found he had warrants for his arrest and took him into custody without incident.
He was lodged on his warrants as well as felony fleeing and eluding police, felony resisting and obstructing police and a misdemeanor of driving with a suspended license.
