WAVERLY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people were killed in a crash Monday morning in Van Buren County.
It happened around 11:37 a.m. at the intersection of M-43 and County Road 665.
Authorities say an SUV that was stopped pulled into the intersection into the path of a truck, causing a collision that sent the SUV into a yard. The driver and a passenger inside were killed in the crash.
Authorities haven’t released the victims’ names, but said they are an 83-year-old woman and 88-year-old man, both from St. Joseph.
