SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — South Haven is now home to one of the area's first coworking spaces.

ThinkBar, 610 Phoenix Street, will open in South Haven on Tuesday, September 8 after being delayed a few months due to the COVID_-19 pandemic.

The co-owners tell FOX 17 this will be a work environment open to the public ideally for entrepreneurs and people who are working remote, which is growing in popularity.

The ThinkBar has office spaces on site, a conference room, creative space, and workstations for individuals or groups. The co-owners hope this will create new economic opportunities for the city.

“South Haven can now be a hub for remote professionals in Southwest Michigan, bringing incremental year-round consumers to the city," Krohne said.

ThinkBar is currently offering a 20% discount for the first month for anyone who signs up for a membership in September.

The owners say they will be following COVID guidelines, keeping workstations six feet apart, requiring masks in common areas, and implementing a stringent cleaning protocol.
