KALAMAZOO, Mich. — OptiMed Health Partners reports that they will be partnering with Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International airport to provide COVID-19 testing.

The testing will be given to arriving and departing passengers alongside local community members starting Feb. 17, 2021.

OptiMed with PCR testing will have 24- to 48-hour turnaround at no out-of-pocket cost. Travelers also will have the option of paying $100 for rapid antigen testing that will provide results within 15 minutes without a referral.

Testing will be held weekdays and weekends during all scheduled flight times. Walk-ins are welcome, although appointments can be scheduled in advance at www.covid19azo.com [covid19azo.com].

“Testing is one of the most powerful tools we have to combat this pandemic, in addition to following safety guidelines such as wearing a mask, washing hands and social distancing,” said Rob Doornweerd, chief operating officer for OptiMed Health Partners. “We’re proud to partner with the airport to provide our community a safe, convenient testing option that supports traveler safety.”
