MICHIGAN — A Xenia, Ohio, establishment named Bob Evans Farms, Inc., is recalling 4,200 pounds of Italian sausage that may contain dangerous materials especially blue rubber, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
The meat in question was shipped to Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The contamination was discovered from consumer complaints, after which Bob Evans notified the FSIS.
Anyone with Bob Evans Italian Sausage bearing a lot code of 0352 and an expiration date of Jan. 31, 2021 is discouraged from eating them and is advised to immediately dispense the meat they have.
