EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A lot of people are planning to get on the water for the 4th of July weekend.
The conditions for Lake Michigan will improve over the weekend. FOX 17 Meteorologist Candace Monacelli reports it's going to be a gorgeous weekend out on the Big Lake.
There will be light winds between 5 to 15 miles per hour and waves around 1 foot on Sunday. Higher waves are possible late Monday evening.
