Michigan redistricting commission resumes meeting after death threat

LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission suspended its Wednesday meeting because of a death threat received through email.

Members of the commission learned of the threat at 1:06 p.m. Wednesday, according to Communications and Outreach Director Edward Woods III.

Law enforcement has been alerted and is investigating.

The meeting resumed about 3:30 p.m.
