An Oakland County man will pay it forward after winning $150,000 playing a Michigan Lottery online game.

“I had just started playing Caribbean Cashword and it was getting late,” said the player, who chose to remain anonymous. “I told myself I’d play three more tickets before bed, and on the third ticket I hit $150,000 and everything went crazy.”

The 48-year-old player bought his winning ticket online.

With his winnings, he plans to pay bills, share with people in the community, and then invest the remainder.

“Winning is truly amazing. I’m looking forward to sharing this with people in need. It’s been a tough year, and I could really help some people by sharing this,” the player said.
