The pandemic is not stopping Santa Claus from making sure kids feel loved this holiday season.

C.S. Mott Children's Hospital said in a news release that Jolly Ol' St. Nick along with Mrs. Claus made virtual visits to sick children in the Ann Arbor hospital this year, keeping their annual tradition intact.

Kids were able to chat with Santa and Mrs. Claus via iPad and share their Christmas list, take a photo and receive gifts.

“Because of their health conditions, visiting Santa isn’t possible for many of them, let alone during a pandemic. We are so thankful to the donors who are giving the gift of time to keep the Santa visit tradition alive this year,” said Mott Child and Family Life Director Lindsay Heering in a press release.
