GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Michigan’s Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP), which is available to Michigan Medicaid and Healthy Michigan Plan recipients, connects expecting mothers with a nurse and social worker who help them through their pregnancy with in-home visits.
They also connect mothers with appropriate community resources and medical professionals and assist with free transportation to appointments.
Priority Health is currently offering a new incentive for moms who participate in MIHP and attend a postpartum appointment, which improves child health outcomes
Members will receive two free bags of diapers delivered to their home.
