MUSKEGON, Mich. — Ravenna Public Schools will be going fully remote Thursday through the end of the month due to rising COVID-19 cases.
All face-to-face athletic and extracurricular practices and events have also been canceled through Nov. 30, according to a letter sent to families Wednesday.
High School Career Tech Center students will continue with their current schedule unless notified otherwise.
The letter says the number of positive cases of the virus within the district and quarantines is “significant.”
In addition, the district is suffering from a shortage of staff.
“We are no longer able to safely and adequately sustain face-to-face staffing, and we have a critical shortage of subs,” the letter said.
