GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — FOX 17 partnered with our sister station WXYZ Detroit to produce "Safely Back to School: A Virtual Town Hall" on Thursday night.
We discussed back-to-school plans, safety precautions and what to expect this school year amid COVID-19.
The virtual town hall featured a range experts, including State Superintendent Michael Rice, Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, chief medical executive and chief deputy director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and local superintendents.
It was moderated by FOX 17 Anchor Mike Avery and WXYZ anchors Carolyn Clifford and Glenda Lewis.
