WAYLAND, Mich. — Wayland Union Schools briefed parents and students following the Michigan Supreme Court’s ruling on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s pandemic response.
The district shared a letter to families from Superintendent Christina Hindst in a Facebook post yesterday.
“Wayland Union Schools will continue to follow the requirements within the MI 'Return to School Roadmap,'” Hinds says, adding that students and staff are required to wear masks.
Hinds says teachers and staff have "the same expectations of students they did when they left last week."
"Please remind your child(ren) of the need to follow all safety protocols,” she says.
The district plans to continue following the state Legislature and keep families informed of changes pertaining to Wayland Union Schools.
