We ended the Fourth of July weekend by relaxing and catching up on sleep so I was well rested for my work week.

It was a slow week for both of my jobs which was nice for once. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed around and I was able to relax.

We finally got the time to celebrate my brother! He leaves in 21 days for Army boot camp.

We threw a small get together for a graduation party. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant everywhere. All the food was individually wrapped or in little sealed cups. Canned sodas and bottled water. Masks were readily available as well. We invited our immediate family only and hugs were forced to the bare minimum. It was strange.

Not anything I would’ve expected or wanted for my little brother, but it went well. We did the best we could for the situation we were in, and I know it’ll be one to remember.

It's Sunday night, I’m cuddled up in bed after another long week.

The world is still a little weird and only getting weirder but I’m still happy. I’m ready for another week.
