WEST MICHIGAN — Several area schools have been awarded a program from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan that supports children’s health.
“Building Healthy Communities” is coming to 341 Michigan K-12 schools in virtual, face-to-face and hybrid formats, according to a news release Wednesday.
West Michigan-area districts with participating districts include:
- Zeeland Public Schools
- Coopersville Public School District
- Grand Haven Area Public Schools
- Grandville Public Schools
- Reeths-Puffer Schools
- Whitehall District Schools
“It is important that children develop healthy habits during this pandemic,” MDHHS Chief Medical Executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun said.
