Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Savannah Fish is the one of the newest additions to the FOX 17 team. While Savanah has spent most of her life in Michigan, she hasn’t spent much time on the west side and is excited to immerse herself into the communities.
Savannah started her news career at 7&4 News in Traverse City. Savannah reported for the morning show covering everything, from: breaking news, severe weather and the latest events and happenings in the northern Michigan communities.
Savannah studied journalism at DePaul University in Chicago and graduated in 2016. During her time there, Savannah had multiple internships including one at WGN News. She interned in the web and social media department for the morning news show.
When Savannah is not in the newsroom you can find her enjoying “lake life” with family and friends or exploring the cities food scene. If you happen to see Savannah out and about, say “hello” she would love to meet you. If you have any story ideas for Savannah, reach out to her on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or send her an email to savannah.fish@fox17online.com.
