Here are five things making headlines that we wanted to pass along.

1.) The Harris Building in downtown Grand Rapids on Division Ave. is getting new life thanks to Little Space Studio. A crowdfunding effort is under way on iniegogo.com

2.) Tickets are now on sale to see Michigan native, actor and comedian Tim Allen. He will be performing at DeVos Performance Hall on Saturday, July 18. You can snag those by going to ticketmaster.com or by heading to the box offices at DeVos Performance Hall along with Van Andel Arena.

3.) After reopening from a complete remodel, the McDonalds' at Division and Hall in Grand Rapids, will now be a "police hub". Local officers can use the restaurant to get to know the community. Also, they are welcome to use the lobby to get some after-hours work done and have a hot meal.

4.) Studies are showing that listening to Christmas music can lead to annoyance, boredom and even distress. Researchers say that when the brain gets saturated with something it causes distress.

5.) Are you obsessed with baby Yoda? Hasbro is debuting a line of collectible toys found at major retailers like Target and Walmart along with Amazon. But, they aren't expected to ship out until next spring.
