"It's been awesome. The four years we had tremendous success. 34-14, a state championship game in 2022. It was a great run with those kids. The town was really jumping around the team. Even in my first year when we were able to go 10-2, when we hadn't won a ton here recently. That was a great team too to kind of turn it around. I just have a ton of great memories here," Pennington said.
Pennington won 134 games during his coaching career in Michigan including four district titles, two regional championships and one state finals appearance.
