HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — Unity Christian's leading scorer, Zac Velthouse battled foul trouble throughout the game on Friday night against Holland Christian.
While he would have a nice second half for the Crusaders, including a big three-pointer in the fourth quarter to help ice the win, it was a total team effort in the 64-51 win.
Paul VanderPloeg would step up with 13 points for Scott Soodsma's group while Drew Chandler led the team with 14 while Holland Christian big man Jalen Overway scored a game-high 18.
The Crusaders improve to 4-1 on the season while Holland Christian falls to 3-2.
