Detroit Lions will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs

DETROIT — The Detroit Lions are at the top of the NFC, clinching the No. 1 seed in the conference and winning the NFC North.

Detroit finished the season 15-2 and will now have an important bye week while the rest of the NFC teams play in the Wild Card.

The Lions will also have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Detroit will host the lowest seed remaining in the playoffs after the Wild Card weekend.
