KENTWOOD, Mich. — Caledonia got off to a hot start on Friday night, leading East Kentwood 38-24 at halftime. In the third quarter, the Scots pushed the lead to 19 points before the Falcons made a late push. East Kentwood would cut the deficit to just three points in the final minutes before the Scots closed the game at the free throw line.
Caledonia's 82-71 win gives the program the first win over the Falcons since February 10, 2017, over 1,000 days ago. The Scots improve to 7-4 overall and 4-2 in the OK Red.
