GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — East Grand Rapids got off to a 2-1 lead after the first period of play and never trailed in the game, beating Grand Rapids Christian 5-3 on Friday night. The Pioneers improve to 6-8-1 on the season and are now tied with the Eagles for third in the conference with 13 points.
