Ferguson leads Byron Center's big 2nd half in win over Hamilton

HAMILTON, Mich. — Byron Center opened up a close game with a big 2nd half Friday in a 61-46 win over Hamilton that gives the Bulldogs sole possession of first place in the OK Green.

The Bulldogs, who led 31-27 at the break, outscored the Hawkeyes, 20-7, in the 3rd quarter.

Freshman McKenna Ferguson scored 11 of her gmae-high 17 points in the second half for Byron Center (4-0, 10-1).

Junior AJ Ediger led Hamilton (3-1,5-6) with 16 points.

The Bulldogs are now the only team unbeaten in the conference after Zeeland West's beat Unity Christian on Friday,
