HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — Hudsonville senior guard Max Perez had no difficulty leading the Eagles on Friday night in the Salad Bowl Classic. The Indiana Tech commit scored 36 points to help propel Hudsonville to the 71-66 win over crosstown rival Unity Christian.
The Eagles led 34-33 at halftime after a late charge from the Crusaders and senior Luke Snoeyink who matched a team-high of 16 points with fellow senior Grant Balcer.
Hudsonville had five scorers on the evening including eleven from Jack Joldersma and eight each from A.J. Davis, Justin DeGraaf and Johnny Miller. The Eagles improve to 2-0 on the season and will take on Jenison on January 3rd in another crosstown rivalry.
