Holland beat crosstown rival Holland Christian 1-0 Thursday night in a division 2 boys soccer district championship game.
The game's only goal was scored by Dutch junion TJ Vreemanin the 64th minute on a free kick.
"In my heart this is the greatest feeling," Vreeman said. "Right when we scored that goal I was like, 'yes' and then at the end 5, 4, 3, 2 1 it just felt great I just ran around just screaming."
Both goalkeepers will excellent in the game, sophomore Daniel Morgan for Holland Christian and sophomore Paul Klomparens for Holland.
"Shout out to those guys over there, they played a really good game especially their keeper he made a lot of saves" Klomparens said. "This means a lot to me because its my sophomore year coming into varsity for the first time so this means a whole lot."

The Maroons put on a lot of pressure in the game, especially in the first half but the Dutch found a way to pull out the win in a game that featured the top two ranked teams in the state in division two.
"Luckily we were able to turn things around a little bit in the second half," Holland head coach Greg Ceithaml said. "Enought to put one in but I give them a lot of credit Holland Christian played with a lot of heart and we had trouble matching that tonight to be honest."
Holland advances to the regional tournament next week at Vicksburg to play Gull Lake.
