Hudsonville holds off East Kentwood, takes 1st place in the OK Red

Hudsonville held on to beat East Kentwood Tuesday night, 56-52.

The Eagles led most of the night, but the Falcons started the fourth quarter on an 11-2 run to take a 52-50 lead with 2:30 to play.

Junior Jaci Tubergen hit a three a minute later to give the Eagles a one-point lead and they would hang on for the win.

Hudsonville (5-0, 6-1) is now in sole possession of first place in the OK Red one game ahead of East Kentwood (4-1, 4-1) and Rockford (4-1, 5-2).
