FERNDALE, Mich. — Jarvis Walker scored 25 points to lead Muskegon to a 67-66 win over Ferndale Monday on the Eagles hoomecourt in the Martin Luther King Classic.
The tournament was postponed from its originally schedule date Saturday.
The Big Reds led by 15 at the half and 13 after three quarters.
Ferndale made a run in the fourth but Muskegon never gave up the lead, the Eagles hit a half court shot at the buzzer to make it a one-point game.
Vern Nash scored 14 points and Lamar Lee added 11 for the Big Reds (5-1).
Muskegon gets back into OK Black play with a trip to Jenison Tuesday and Mona Shores on Friday.
