MUSKEGON, Mich. — Reeths-Puffer got off to an outstanding start on Thursday night in the regional semifinals against Bay Reps of Traverse City. Matt Herniman and Nolan Convertini each scored in the opening period to give the Rockets a 2-0 lead at first intermission.
In the second, Convertini would score his second of the game to help the Rockets take a 3-0 lead before Bay Reps responded with a goal as it was 3-1 at second intermission.
While the Rockets allowed a late goal, Nick Meyering would hold strong in the final minute to help Reeths-Puffer win it, 3-2 and advance to the regional finals against Traverse City West on Wednesday evening at Mercy Health Arena.
